FOOD IN 2030: TRENDS & OUTLOOK

This study provides a framework on the variables that will influence the future development of eating habits, by focusing on identifying a conceptual framework to understand the factors that will affect the future development of food choices within post-modern societies. The intent of this position paper is also to indicate to institutions and actors in the food sector (from production and distribution to catering) the options to achieve a new balance, characterized by a balanced and positive approach to nutrition: a future food scenario that is realistic, constructive, and durable.
